About myselfMy name is Randy R. Todd II. I graduated from Canton High in 1999. Then attended St. Lawrence University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry in 2003. I'm an avid golfer and a fan of all athletics. This is my first year of teaching and it has been a very enjoyable experience so far. I love the subject of chemistry and I hope to pass on this enthusiasm to my students and peers.Chemistry First of all, Chemistry is not an easy subject. There are topics that students have not encoutered and they will be difficult to understand at first. The main requirement for the course is EFFORT!!! Without effort, students will become confused and lost. They will not be able to recover and will not enjoy their experience with chemistry.Remember, CHEM-IS-TRY!!! Chem. Lab The chemistry laboratory is a great place to enjoy a hands-ons experience in the world of chemistry. It gives students the opportunity to work with "real world" things while applying the concepts learned in the chemistry classroom.
**Lab #3- Density of Pennies was due Wednesday Oct. 6th.**
General AnnoucementsAs five week reports come up, I get lots of requests of what students grades are. Most students can pretty much figure out how well they are doing. I suggest that if a student needs help to come in before or after school. It doesn't help to stay confused if you are already confused!! I'm here to help.Events in the Chemistry Classroom Currently we are studying the atom and its' history.
Golf ClubAs most of you know, I have a great interest in golf. I am thinking about starting a "golf club". Any feedback before I actually start this adventure would be great!!!My favorite sites | Chemistry Chem. Lab General Annoucements Events in the Chemistry Classroom Golf Club My favorite sites |
