About myself Welcome to our classroom website! My name is Sheri Shea. I have been teaching Kindergarten for five years at Brushton Moira Central. I received by Bachelor's Degree from Plattsburgh State University and I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Literacy at the same University. I own a home in Constable where I live with my puppy Sassy. I enjoy painting, reading, home decorating and of course, spending the day with all of my Kindergarten students!

Homework Read to your child daily! Remember our Book It! program from Pizza Hut! Read seven books to your child each month and record them on the form provided to return to school and your child will receive a free coupon from Pizza Hut for a free pizza!
What's new in Kindergarten?We have been very busy learning about our colors and shapes and beginning to learn some new words. We already know the words a, we, I, the!! This week we learned the letter "C" and started learning how to write the numbers 1,2, and 3. We also made a class poem about all the sounds that we hear through school which is posted in our "Student Work" section. We learned a new song called "Down By The Bay" that we loved so much that we made some of our own rhymes and created a song book! Some examples are included in our "Student Work" section as well. We are very excited that Halloween is coming soon and we can't wait to spook each other in our costumes!

Announcements and Notes Picture Day is Monday, October 27
Our Halloween Party and Parade will be on Friday, October 31st. Times will follow soon. Please send your child's costume to school in a bag that day, labeled with your child's name. If you wish to send a Halloween treat to share with the class, feel free. Happy Halloween!
