I grew up in Hopkinton, New York and attended Parishville-Hopkinton Central School. After graduation, I received a BA degree from Oswego State University and a MST degree from Potsdam State College.
I am married to Tonia Phippen who also works here at BMCS. We have two wonderful children. A beautiful little girl named Cassidy Jane and a handsome young fellow named Luke. Luke joined our family on February 18th of this year.
I am a big fan of the Yankees, 'Cuse baskestball, and SLU hockey. I also enjoy riding ATV's and hunting.
FYI: The end of the year is quickly approaching, but we still have a lot of material to cover to prepare for next year. Hard work in the spring and summer result in good test scores in the following school year. The material we cover now will be tested next year.

FAQ: How can I raise my average?
Social Studies- The best way to raise your average is to do well on your cloze notes. You can use your book and/or ask for help on these assignments. Another way to raise your average is to turn in all homework on time and completed. It is very easy to raise your "homework check" grades.
By putting in the time and effort your grade will rise dramatically and quickly.
ELA- A good way to raise your average quickly is to retake spelling tests.
All Content Areas- complete all homework, study for tests and quizzes, and most importantly ask for help if you don't understand new material.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support! Together we can provide the best possible education for your child.
