About myself

I am the District School Psychologist at Brushton-Moira Central School. I have been working at BMC for 18 years. I received my training as a School Psychologist at St. Lawrence University, a few years ago. My work at BMC includes evaluating children who are experiencing learning problems. I also provide counseling for children and crisis intervention. I believe that we all must work together to help our children be successful learners as well as become productive citizens.

I am married and have two daughters. Allison is a Junior at Boston College and Emily is a Freshman at Ithaca College. I am proud to be their Mom!

I am passionate about educationing children at BMC and feel that we have a very caring staff, dedicated to teaching children. I believe that BMC has made many advances in helping our children learn and am enthusiastically awaiting the implementation of our new Reading program for grades K-3 this Fall.

I believe that my job is to help every child succeed and to help create a caring environment in which this success can happen!!

Resources for Parents

I am always available to talk to parents about their children and any problems they are experiencing. Please do not hesitate to call.

My favorite words to ponder!

It takes great courage and inner strength to change from what is known and comfortable to something which is new and fresh. That which is unknown often contains our greatest potential. To seek our potential by risking change is the path of true greatness. Such action brings great favor and untold blessings.
