Tips for the Regents 1. When you get your regents exam- look at the thematic essay first and begin a brief outline( brainstorming outside material).
2. When you begin your multiple choice questions ---read each answer carefully, then re-read the question.
3. If your not sure of an answer, make an educated guess-- based on what you do know.
4.It may be hot and humid, bring a drink without a label.
5. Take your time you have 3 hours to complete the regents exam.
6. Do not change your answers on the regents unless you find new information that would warrant a change.
7. When reading the questions, try to determine what the answer should be prior to reading the choices, and then continue to make a decision.
