Mrs. Terry Denno I was born and raised in Moira. I graduated from Brushton-Moira in 1972 and have been teaching here since 1985. I have one beautiful daughter named Katie and a wonderful son-in-law named Carl. On May 4th, 2007 I became the very proud Gramma of Kellan Patrick Barry. Along with my family, the school and the people of this community are very close to my heart. I would like to work together with parents to see the students of Brushton-Moira reach their full potential! Homework Reading-15 minutes per night Math-1 "Fact Practice" Worksheet and 1 "Homework" Worksheet Spelling-study for weekly test *Research has shown that regular homework contributes to academic success. Recess! I have found that children have a much more productive afternoon if they can get outside for a few minutes of fresh air, sunshine, and play. Unless our schedule absolutely doesn't permit it, it's raining, or bitterly cold we will be going out for recess. Please send your children with warm and comfortable clothes and footwear for outdoor play. Thanks! Do you have any homework? We have Reading homework every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We also have two sheets in Math. 1 is fact practice and 1 is a review of the daily lesson.
